14 Behold, You have (A)driven me this day from the face of the ground; and from Your face I will be hidden, and (B)I will be a vagrant and a wanderer on the earth, and it will be that (C)whoever finds me will kill me.” 15 So Yahweh said to him, “Therefore whoever kills Cain, vengeance will be taken on him (D)sevenfold.” And Yahweh [a](E)appointed a sign for Cain, so that no one who found him would strike him.

16 Then Cain went out from the presence (F)of Yahweh and [b]settled in the land of [c]Nod, east of Eden.
